The Ocular IQ Home Solar is a versatile residential EV charger that integrates seamlessly with solar energy systems. Compatible with all EV models, it offers three distinct charging modes:
Fast Mode: Utilises maximum available power from the grid or solar to charge the vehicle quickly.
Solar Assist Mode: Combines a base level of grid power with excess solar energy, optimising charging during variable solar production.
Solar Only Mode: Charges exclusively using surplus solar energy, ensuring eco-friendly operation.
Equipped with current transformer (CT) clamps, the IQ Home Solar monitors household energy usage to prevent overloading and maximise solar utilisation. Its is designed to be durable in various weather conditions, and the included 5-meter Type 2 cable facilitates easy connection to vehicles. Users can manage charging sessions, monitor energy consumption, and schedule operations through the Ocular Smart Home App.
